The Honorable Rob Wilkins is a distinguished leader who has served both the military and civilian fitness sectors with excellence. He has been a strong advocate for veterans, fitness, and inclusive sports throughout his career. He is an Emeritus Member of the Nation Fitness Foundation (NFF) and a Former Member of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition, serving in the Trump and Biden Administrations. Wilkins served in the United States Air Force for 26-years and was recognized by numerous Inspector General Teams (IG) for his unit fitness and wellness programs. Currently, Wilkins is on the board of a number of organizations that support the military community, such as the American Veterans Center, Transcend Foundation, Blue Star Families Campaign for Inclusion Committee, Rolling Thunder Washington, DC, and is a founding member of the American Legion Wellness Committee. For nearly three decades, he has contributed to fitness-related publications, such as Muscle & Fitness and FLEX Magazine, collaborated with the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) to support military personnel, and co-created Fit to Serve, the largest fitness column dedicated to military personnel and the importance of fitness in their life. Wilkins has advocated for inclusive sports and supported organizations like the Special Olympics and TAPS, which provide opportunities and assistance for people with disabilities and those who have lost loved ones in the military. Wilkins is a true leader, role model, and a champion of fitness and community service.
