Janet Mindes, PhD is Adjunct Research Asst. Prof. (remote), WMU Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine (WMed), Kalamazoo MI, and an independent researcher, educator, writer, editor; research psychologist (B.A., Harvard University, Ph.D., New York University) with thirty-plus years' experience, since 1998 focused on integrative medicine, for the brain, neuropsychiatric conditions, healthy aging, at New York University GSAS, Columbia University Vagelos College of P&S, and the former Tri-State College of Acupuncture. She has taught and mentored medical, doctoral and undergraduate students, conducted research at NYC universities and medical centers, on NIH grants. Dr. Mindes co-edited/co-authored Integrative Sexual Health, Weil Integrative Medicine Library, OUP, 2018, and is co-writing the lay version for the OUP series Dr. Weil’s Healthy Living Guides.
